Given the early commitment, I think you have to set Cuse as a prohibitive favorite.

If it’s anyone other than Cuse, I will let out a hearty belly laugh.

Agreed with this. I think we have an outside shot, but Corey Floyd seems more like our #1 target. We will see if Kimani can make another last minute Rens W.

I’d have to agree that I would prefer Floyd over Gayle. Both good players though and I trust the staff to bring in the right guys, that’s what they’ve been doing for 3 years.

Agreed that, given the timing, I'd have to think Cuse. Seems like we are prioritizing Floyd and Williams over Gayle from what I've gathered. Certainly could be wrong, but that's my best guess at this point.

Relevant school comments:

UConn: “It would be very cool to play under Coach Hurley.”

Syracuse: “Legendary coach in Jim Boeheim and very close to my hometown.”

Ohio State: “Kept in close contact since freshman year and I went on a visit. Loved the campus and playstyle”

Would be shocked if he chose Cuse. If you go there you have to consider 50% chance Boeheim retires over next 4 years. That's beginning to hurt their recruiting.

I love the Cuse thought process on recruiting.

Step 1: He is definitely Cuse Bound
Step 2: Crystal balls start for another school
Step 3: Convincing themselves that crystal balls mean nothing
Step 4: Prospect picks another school (usually UConn)
Step 5: Convince themselves he wasn't that good, they have lots of other options and bash on their "insiders"
Step 6: Come to the conclusion they didnt get picked because of a lack of playing time due to the coaches son

Steps 1-5 could easily describe the BY as well...
