As I was watching the UCONN v. Stanford game just after reading some of the recruiting threads on this website, it hit me how big (rock stars) the top 6, maybe seven, UCONN players are in the world of WCB. If you are a WCB fan you could ID your teams players and probably a few non-UCONN players, BUT I bet you could also ID the UCONN starting five plus AZ and maybe MW. That to me translates into Rock Star status for the UCONN players, when fans throughout the country know who you are and can ID you from your picture. That has to help in recruiting. What top recruit wouldn't want to be part of a program like that?
Other teams might have one Rock Star (Wilson at SC, Durr at Louisville, Mitchell at OSU and now Onesco sp? at Oregon), but none have 6 or 7. If you want to gain that exposure there is only one place to attain it! And it's not FSU or UGa. Come on ONO, join in on the fun---don't get wasted on an also ran.
