Along with a Memphis bid to the New Years bowl games and invite to the BIG12 along with Cincy. I think that will firmly place us at rock bottom. Optimist Bobby Diaco will be happy to see that we were No. 1 in something though.

If they lose this game and Diaco's firing is not at least being considered then I suspect that the elimination of FBS football has to be on the table. There is no way you can care about the future of the program and let this nonsense continue. I am pretty sure Ansonia has a more diverse offense than UConn and Darien has a better offensive line.

Let's make it a little worse....the AAC folds because of losing Memphis and Cincy and the rest of the southern teams head to C-USA/Sun Belt leaving Temple and UConn in a similar situation to Idaho and NMSU last year after the WAC folded.

Offensive line has been the best group the 2nd half of the season. They deserve nothing but praise for the last 4-5 games. Can't say that for any other position.

Yep, bottom will be when some two teams are invited to P5 and we are stuck watching Aresco fill the void. As someone else said, watch out for Navy to reverse course and SMU & Houston to start dialing up the mtn west.

There is only one change and one hope for next season.

Change: Diaco brings in a new offensive coordinator to start over.
Hope: Sheriffs can bring something to spring football which carries over to next fall.

I don't want to rail against college players by name and Boyle seems like a nice kid and all, and he has the local story, but his opportunity should be considered over. He doesn't have the touch to play D1 as a starter.
