It really speaks volumes to what that atmosphere used to be like. I don't know if we'll ever get back there but I'm happy to say I was there screaming and causing opponents like RGIII hate coming to the Rent for most of the 2000's

Still remember that game. RG III continues to be one of the best ambassadors of the UCONN football program. Thank you RG III for the comment...again.

The thing to remember is with that being a great atmosphere and win at the Rent we went to their house the next year and won again. It was a day game and had to be hot but our team was solid. 31-28 in 08 and 30-22 in 09.

I'm curious, virtually all of your posts for the past few years knock all things UConn, including basketball in the Big East.

What causes such disdain for a program? Give us some insight to why you even bother sharing such, I don't know, anger maybe?

As far as hanging our hats on old memories if that's all you got then that's all you got. Why is that a problem? Sure beats dwelling on the state of the program as it is today.
