Road wins

I saw this in an article about today's game. That's progress.

UConn has won as many road games (four) as the previous two seasons combined.

And they're all conference toad wins, in a much tougher conference than the last 2 years.

Good teams win on the road...period. The 2000-2001 season stands out to me because that was an NIT team, mainly because they went like 1-8 or 1-9 on the road for the season. Now, I know its a little different this season with the limited to no attendance, but Its still not easy to win in an unknown environment where you never played before. Our road wins this season are a good indicator of where this team stands, and how far we have come over the last few years.

There's one stat I like better. 2011. No losses outside the conference, with tournament wins in Maui, Big East and NCAA.
