You forgot the GN. It's nice to have something good to talk about.
how many years of eligibility does he have left?
In the same article, Gavin Keefe mentioned another former Eastern CT Conference player that previously played for Calhoun. Granted it was with Northeastern, but Glen Miller played for Calhoun after transferring from UConn and Fitch HS (Groton).
that makes sense thanks. i felt dumb for asking but now think i do recall someone saying that in a different thread. He has one year left - at least that's the way I read it. Looking at the Holy Cross athletic site, he played a full season his freshman, sophomore and senior years and played 8 games his junior year before being injured. I'm assuming he got a medical redshirt his junior year, leaving him with one year of eligibility.
Um, he's older, experienced, played D1 ball for 3 years and is a better prospect as a 4th guard than our walkons. As a bench player, what's wrong with that. We have three ships available so a little depth is good news and someone who will be helpful to the apr and is limited to a one year stint, all good.Is this the same Holy Cross from the Patriot League? Is this supposed to be good news for Uconn?
You must be a great comedian Clothy, you gonna be here all weekend?
Seriously, after all the jibes I've taken about the A10 being a crappy conference, you guys defend this. Sounds like a desperation move ala Rob Garrison
He is solid. Strong, experienced, defensive-minded guards don't grow on trees. Now with Bradley leaving, hopefully we can get a big.I was impressed with him. He can score is smart and plays with a lot of energy. He will be a solid player for us next year. Not everyone we sign needs to be a future star.
He is a more athletic better defensive player than DB and can actually score a little by slashing. He will definitely provide more than DB as his he is a solid backup player who could start if needed. DB was never someone who had a chance to start with his limited skill set.I don't see much more than a Donnell Beverly-level talent in Evans, but that's OK. This team could use some size in the backcourt.

Yeah never expected to see MB leave. Oh well it is going to be a tough year no matte what next year. Can we just get a couple athletic bigs who might be projects for next year?See threads below.
I hear ya. It's kind of funny: people complaining about landing bigs who turn out to be projects. Now we'll gladly take them!Yeah never expected to see MB leave. He's not coming to Uconn to be a savior or to replace Jeremy Lamb's production. He's coming to be one piece of an 8 or 9 man rotation.
And he's scored 1,000 points at the Division 1 level already. Did Rob Garrison do that?
