Saw him in SD in 1997. During BP he literally worked his way from one foul line to the other in sequence.
 
I think Tony may have created the 5.5 hole with his ability to place the ball between the third baseman and the shortstop. No shifts for him. Living in San Diego, I got to see a lot of Tony. He was one of those rare athletes that passed up the big bucks to stay with the home town team.
 
Never guess it looking at his weight at the end but also a great hooper at SD State. LA Clippers drafted him.

Class act. Great hitter.
