Just a terrible thing. Her husband dies from brain cancer and she had pancreatic cancer. Life is so unfair, she was just 53 and he was 57. This on a day when we also lost the great Richard Lewis. As a Yankee fan I also always liked Wake and his unusual talent when he wasn’t trying to beat my team but he seemed like such a great guy.

On top of that they leave behind 2 teenage children who now have lost both parents at a young age. Terrible.

It brings to mind Christopher Reeves whose wife died of cancer after his death leaving behind a young son.

Wake was the ultimate teammate. I feel bad for their children losing both parents. It was bad enough for me to lose my father when I was 30. Hopefully, Tim's close friends help with the two young adults.

I watch Curb all the time and recently watched most of the prior seasons. Richard Lewis was a lovable neurotic and a very close friend of Larry David. I am not surprised at his death as he did not look very well.

RIP Richard and Stacy.

Was shocked when Tim Wakefield died. Wish Stacy had more time. Can't even fathom what the kids are going through. From what I've read and heard about both, the world is a lesser place without them.

They unfortunately had 2 types of cancer where there is almost no hope for cure. Medical science has progressed to the point where many many forms of cancer have a realistic shot of either cure or life extension but not those 2 forms. Just tragic.
