Natalie Cole, the Grammy-winning singer who had hits with such songs as "This Will Be" and "Our Love" and recorded "Unforgettable ... With Love," a best-selling album of songs made famous by her late father, Nat King Cole, has died. She was 65.

Cole, who had struggled with a variety of health issues in recent years, died Thursday night, according to publicist Maureen O’Connor. The cause of death was reportedly congestive heart failure.

She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. I still listen to her album "Unforgetable" often. Will miss her smile.

She stepped into her fathers exceptionally large and talented shoes --and filled them well. This is a sad day for those of us who thought that Nat and Natalie were both King Coles!!

Natalie was able to do some "Virtual Duets" with her Dad, Nat King Cole.
Here is one

.-.
RIP, I enjoyed her work.

Wish she reunions with her father in the heaven

I remember Natalie from the early 70s when she was a student at UMass. On Friday evenings she would occasionally take to the stage for a song or two at a popular Friday night watering hole in Amherst. Many of us knew then, that she had a future in music.

Chokes me up, though I loved her Dad the most.

It's hard to believe that Natalie was 65! I feel old.

Nat lived to be only 45.

A terrible loss to the music world. And she died way to young.
