Actress who starred in the hilarious NBC comedy Night Court and the CBS sitcom Heart Afire w/ John Ritter and Billy Bob Thornton. Also used to guest on a lot of daytime game shows and many television shows over the last 40 years. She was a very talented, and beautiful, comedic actress. Night Court has lost half of their starring cast recently with Harry Anderson dying in 2018 and Charles Robinson just a month ago. John Larroquette, Richard Moll, and Marsha Warfield still with us.

I too had a crush on her when she was on "Night Court". Don't forget her part as Mary's mother in "Something About Mary". Hilarious scene when Ben Stiller catches himself in his zipper, ouch. That had everyman cringing.

Sad to hear it. I loved Night Court. She had great comic timing on that show. And, yes, she made padded shoulder pads and spike the 80s hair look good.

For my husband and I, Night Court has a special place in our hearts. A mutual love of the show drew us together and it was something we looked forward to watching in the early years of our marriage.

Ms Post's passing makes me very sad
