RIP, Joe. One of my all-time favorite players growing up. Would never trade his baseball card for ANYONE!! Him and Rod Carew. Those were my favorite players as a kid. One of the greats.

A really important cog in one of the last great dynasties in baseball. Also, a class human being. With today's payrolls it's doubtful that any small market will again be able to field a team like the "Big Red Machine". RIP Joe Morgan. You were the one that made the wheel go round.
