The Father of Festivus has passed away. Spouse of Anne Meara and Ben Stiller's dad, Jerry was a regular character on Seinfeld. He played George Costanza's dad.

Bama, did you ever catch the Stiller & Meara comedy routines. They were hilarious. Not sure why they stopped. Maybe when Ben was born Anne decided to become a full time mom.

Used to love their Blue Nun ads. I still like to (loosely) quote Ann Meara, "Welcome to (can't remember name restaurant) where every meal is like a cultured pearl".

I enjoyed the Blue Nun ad where Anne says she has become a real convert. Jerry asks, "So you drink it religiously now?" Anne replies ,"Yes it's become a real habit." Dumb puns that they did so seamlessly.
