from the minute your car hits the parking lot this weekend or that pregame keystone shotgun in your dorm room early in the afternoon, may we wage holy war vs cuse. its personal! this is our last stand. can we get into the ncaas without this game? sure but we can go in limping or we can go into msg on a roll with this team and its fans looking for a fight, looking for blood. MM would be proud if we can put in the effort this weekend. the media will catch on quick if we make noise and get on a roll. were uconn god dammit! this is a call to arms for JCs health, for the boatright family, and for all of our struggles that have come up this year.

stand and yell the entire game, blue out the place and give them all we can. spread this thru everyone you know going to the game, on twitter/fb and to the beat writers. this is on the fans and not the athletic dept. lets show that this fanbase has some dam life it in. cuse packed 30k in orange for us a couple weeks ago. we should send a message that we are not to be taken lightly. the press all year has been negative becuase of ncaa stuff and this teams up and down play. we can change it with some effort. lets make it happen. its up to us.

I'm not quite sure when my groups getting there for the game, but the smart money says it will be way before the University allowed time of 5 pm on Friday. It's gonna be rocking. If I were a gambling man I would say it will be the loudest game Gampel has ever had. Texas is the loudest I have ever experienced. I was front row for that one with the U painted on my chest and this game will not be any different.

I actually have to eventually get vocal cord nodules removed from screaming my lungs out at UConn games the past 8 seasons since I've had tickets at Gampel, XL and the Rent.

This might be one of my final hurrahs so I'm going to make it count!

Teds is going to be bonkers all day long. Can't wait.

Also, we may have some recruits in the house so let's show them the passion as well. Those XL games are not going to impress a lot of recruits.

This game's gonna impress them. Take that to the bank.

I agree. I was there for the Texas game in 2010 and it was crazy...loudest ive ever heard Gampel. I want it to be 100 times better Saturday night. First, Its Uconn vs Syracuse and this is going to be one of the last few times we play them so enjoy the moment. Its ESPN college gameday so everyone will be watching the game, lets show them what Uconn is all about. We may not see gameday come to Gampel for another 5 years so lets make it count. Finally according to reports Jim Calhoun will coach the game. If this isnt enough to get the adrenaline flowing then i dont know what will. Lets show the Oranges whos house it is.

is it? my bad. my point still stands. everyone spread the message of making this weekend count!
Yes, gameday email says to wear white so may as well go with it. But absolutely this game needs to be one of the loudest games in UConn history. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO CAMPING OUT ALL DAY FRIDAY

Also, fans are allowed to bring signs for once!!!
I was going to ask about this, are we going to only be allowed to have signs for GameDay or will we be allowed to have them for the game as well?
I miss the days being able to have newspapers for the intros of the opposing team. Not a fan of how much administration cracked down on stuff like that over years.

You're right....that's not very clear. I would assume the game but they are kicking everyone out for two hours...but they know most will just line up again! Good question.

I believe signs are allowed for Gameday and not the game. I've been wrong before though.

If you have something worth writing for all the country to see, take your shirt off and paint it on your chest. No rules against that.

"The Shot" by BAZZ that changes the whole season. 1 shot and 1 continued dream ready to salsa to New Orleans! The drama behind this basket could be the catalyst to make the run we have all been waiting for! We all can finally feel the adreneline!

Can someone PLEASE replicate this in Andre's namesake for the game on Saturday:

PS: somebody tell the students to please not wear those orange shirts. Can't believe some were still wearing them last Saturday

;)

If they had a trophy for the same old song and dance year after year Syracuse would be the best team of all time. Do well all season, then first to second round exit. Time to show these guys how to play ball.

Can we make this guy an honorary UConn student?

its a white out, so lets white out the dam place! i dont wana see people in other colors unless its a hot wife with just a braw on. i get out of class at 5 and will be up there around 7ish. i will be wearing a white bed sheet around my neck like kembas cape. i'm going to yell at every single person walking into that place to send the message loud and clear. this is our chance for a stand. f the ncaa and acc. this in not a joke. well maybe the bed sheet part is.

I'm heading up with a few friends (fellow alumni), we got a block of rooms at the hotel. Where do any of you current/recent grads think, outside of Gampel, the best place to watch will be? Ted's, Huskies or Civic...err, Thirsty Dog?

Will be wearing my (white) emeka throwback, and blue and white face paint.

My girl joked about wearing orange to the game...closest I've ever come to hitting a woman.

Is that you at the :15 second mark ?

Just found out a buddy of mine has tickets and we are going this Saturday night. I'm kind of depressed though - this will be my first time ever not sitting in the student section since I graduated 3 years ago. Are the old wealthy people who just go for the novelty of it or the middle-aged people with their kids going to give me a hard time when I stand the whole game? Is it ok to hit an elderly person in that situation? What about the child who complains that they can't see over me while I stand up? Is it against basketball game etiquette to smack the kid? Or should I just offer to let the kid sit on my shoulders? I need advice on how to deal with this.

Whoever gives you trouble, just wait until a timeout, then point at the child/old person and yell "SYRACUSE FAN! GET HIM!!!" It would help if you can smuggle in some orange paint to cover the offender right before the point and shout.

I was at the BET 6OT thriller with some fellow alums. We were sitting in the upper section at MSG probably about halfway up and when the game was in the first OT we started standing. The elderly crowd behind us did not approve so we sat back down. Once it got to the third OT we told them to shut it and we stood the rest of the way.
