Died at 82.

When I was a kid, before cable, before the innernets, getting my baseball info from This Week in Baseball, Earl Weaver epitomized what I thought a "baseball manager" was. Those O's teams were tough and he was always blowing a gasket on some ump in every set of highlights.

RIP.

Loved TWIB, loved the opening score that played, RIP Earl.

This is why I won't go on a cruise.

RIP Earl. Hope you get all the 3-run HRs you want up there.

Agreed Deep, and he was a fun to guy to watch in the dugout had a great passionate for his teams and the game!!

RIP Earl Weaver

Weaver was such an icon in his day. And the fun I had waiting, and finally seeing him storm the diamond to kick that dirt. RIP Weav
