Oh my God. This is huge. She was amazing. I love Mrs. Peel. Greatest female character of all time. She was so ahead of her time.

My wife is going to be very upset and I expect an Avengers marathon will ensue.

The two seasons Diana Rigg spent on The Avengers was simply wonderful television. John Steed and Emma Peel were a great team.

I wasn't familiar with Dianna Rigg. Not every death is a tragedy though. She was 82 and lived a long fulfilling life, and died peacefully at home.
