RIP - Diahann Carroll

One of the first if not the first black woman to be "The" leading star of a television series(Julia). Beautiful woman, amazingly talented. She's in a far better place now.

I wrote that in hopes you'd respond... Hook, line, and sinker....

lol sure you did brah. i heard a qb entered the portal at Arizona - what are our chances?

.-.
She got her start in "House of Flowers: When a bee lies sleeping in the palm of your hand" was a great song for which she will be remembered. Sad to see her go, hopefully to a better place.

The first Black female to play a professional on tv. Also, the first show with a black child being friends with a white child. Wonderful show, underrated show!

RIP, Ms Carroll

I was just 6 in 1968, so my memories of TV back then are hazy. But I remember "Laugh-In", "My Three Sons", and "Julia".
I can't remember the name of Julia's son on the show but I still remember her son's friend: Earl J. Waggadorn. I knew a kid that thought that was so funny.
