In the real world, Mr. Howell would've dumped Mrs. Howell and married Ginger, or kept her on the side. He smartly brought a lot of cash with him just in case.

If they revive the series Ginger and Mary Ann would be hooking up.

Seems like you thought this one a through in your head already (Prolly a few thousand times).

And Mrs. Howell would have turned Gilligan in to the proverbial pool boy.

Let's face it, the plot line of Gilligans Island- a bunch of strangers stuck together in a remote area for extended periods of time was possibly the genesis for a generation of reality shows- Big Brother, Real World, Survivor, etc.

Nina Dobrev as MaryAnn and Yvonne Strahovski as Ginger.

Yeah, you've definitely put more energy than a random Google search in to this.

In the reboot, Dawn Wells requested a burial at sea. Her friends Nina, Yvonne, Jack Black as Gillian, Musk and whatever self operating cyborg he's driving as the billionaire and his wife go along. Bill Nye has lost just enough marbles to be the professor. Still haven't figured out the skipper.

Freddie Highmore as Gilligan, Kevin James as the skipper, Alec Baldwin as Thurston Howell III, Allison Jamison as Lovey and Ryan Reynolds as the professor.

Have your people call my people when you've got a script ready.
