RIP Bobby Bowden Age 91

Nothing surprising. Family had put out a press release a few weeks ago saying he was shutting down.

Great coach getting all that talent to Tallahassee. That city and immediate area really isn't that much of a recruiting hot bed and isn't the nicest area to go to college but he got the Jimmy's and the Joe's on both sides of the ball.

We all loved Bobby....if you saw him at a booster meeting or a function, he'd always call out "hey, buddy". Everyone was "buddy".

He had a good life, a good death...and was at peace with the night falling.

My mom is an FSU alum. Sad day. Maybe the greatest program build ever. Bama was Bama when Saban and Bryant arrived. FSU was nothing before Bowden.
