He may be going to hell in a bucket babe, but at least he's enjoying the ride.

Perhaps the most unique rhythm guitarist ever. His role in between Phil and Jerry’s counterpoint is insanely overlooked. A lot of the incredibly cool things you hear and think are Jerry, is actually Bob. Incredible musician.

Growing up in East Hampton, CT, I never knew a single Dead Head. We were Skynyrd and Zepplin fans. So, I never became a true fan.

That said, I love their music. And hearing other artists covering their songs.

In 2007, living in Ft Greene Brooklyn with roommates, we had a backyard BBQ for my birthday, end of August. My attractive Brazilian roommate said "I have a friend coming over you might appreciate". It was John Perry Barlow. Just cruised up on his motorcycle and hung out for 4 hours. He told so many stories. The Dalai Lama, aliens, oh yeah, Bobby's in town too he may come over. "Anyone have a guitar". Bobby didnt make it over, who knows. It was insane. Ill be listening to the Dead all week.
