RIP Baba Booey

I just saw that Alan Thicke died this year. How'd I miss that?

is anyone actually surprised when a wack pack member passes? this isn't remotely comparable to thicke who died of a sudden heart attack after a long successful career, not being a bit on a washed up radio show.

Alan Thicke was Baba Booey?!?!
I figured he deserved some props. A hell of a lot more deserving of a thread than freakin' Baba Booey who was only famous because he was a Stern hanger-on.

Is this true that he's dead? That's crazy ...

I'm a huge Howard fan -- Baba booey is not a wack packer he's the producer of the show, Gary... And he's a totally normal (relatively) guy. I'm pretty shocked by this.

.-.
No...it isn't Gary the producer...it's someone named Joey Boots. I guess he was known for shouting baba boey.

I had to double check myself, he invented the term baba booey. gary the guy who lives in greenwich is who they actually call baba booey, has a book named after it. i initially thought thats what OP meant.

I was definitely a fan when i was younger, specifically the artie era.

Sorry, saw the name Baba Booey, and thought it was him, my bad

.-.
Ya I didn't make the age connection, but I knew Gary was roughly that age...

Joey is famous for yelling Baba booey, but he didn't invent the phrase.

2016 claims another giant in the entertainment industry.
