Answer at end; no peeking.

The case could be made that we may/can put a #1 ranked player on the floor at ALL five positions simultaneously. Lewis was a #1. Stewart a #1. Tuck as a high school soph was the national sophomore player of the year, according to my old notes (this prior to her first major injury). And there are your three front court spots covered as the new season approaches so very slowly. In the backcourt, Chong was the Parade Magazine POY in her class. Jefferson was, I believe, #1 at her position. Got a problem with any of those? I think Ekmark got some nods as the #1 shooting guard in her class. Nurse is Canada's #1 point guard. ( Feeling shaky? Fall back to Williams as a #2 guard in her class. And now you have eight kids on the floor, seven of whom could be looked at as #1's). So, there are your ones AT 5.

So what about three's FROM 5? We have five (at least) players that can nail a three consistently. Ekmark supposedly best three in her class. Chong set the scoring records in big old NY State, and was known for her three point shot while doing so. Lewis said to be best in nation. We know what Stewart can do from the arc. And, do you remember that Tuck won the 3 contest at one of the high school AA gatherings?

So what about X2? Slide Samuelson in for the graduating Lewis a year out, and you have your repeat for "ones AT 5, threes FROM 5".....which is X2. Got the answer to the riddle? Here 'tis: UCONN...UCONN...UCONN!! Who got it? Who disputes it?
