Yeah, I read Rich's piece and that line really hit me. "Baby" Really? Where did that come from? We have to know. Rich, get on it. Kia has poise and toughness and smarts. Of course she hit the ground running. The competition in the team is going to be fun. I hope it is and stays healthy.

I think I would prefer the nickname "Nurse Kia" to distinguish her audibly from Big Kiah.

I think they really should just go with the 'K' 'Kay' and 'Quay' or maybe the 'Que Passer'

Last year they called Soniya ling-ling. I cringed.
They will be more worldly after they grow up and have to play in China in the wintertime to earn a living.

BTW I saw Ling Ling (giant panda) when she was loan from China to the Bronx Zoo (~1987?)
