To Hebron High. Plano fell behind and had to play catch- up. Fell short. Record 3-1
 
Unfortunately Dez Wortham got injured for Hebron. He had to leave in the third quarter. He was having a great game: 162 yards and 2 TDs on 21 carries in the 3rd quarter.

The Hebron coach had nice words for Rich Lagow:

"[Plano] made some big plays," Brazil said. "That's the one thing with Lagow is that he's got an incredible arm. He can throw the ball 70 yards on a rope and is so scary, but after they had their big plays, our kids rallied and kept him in the pocket.
 
Will be nice to have a QB that can drop back and throw the ball downfield.

6-14 leaves something to be desired. Wouldn't surprise me if they just chuck the ball downfield and hope for the best though.

What are you talking about?
 
The Allen paper reported him as 6-12. Plano has been emphasizing the run this year. Perhaps similar to UConn, they may not trust the o-line's pass blocking or the receivers as much as they do the running backs.

Or maybe they're grooming him to fit into the UConn offense! Fewer passes...and more runs up the middle!
