The Rice University marching band - within a week of their administration presenting for inclusion to the Big 12 - targeted Baylor's sexual assault record in their halftime show.

Ballsy.

And this brings us to the total inane point of Conference Realignment. Pitting one superior institution in a "Monty Python" type standoff. Classic.

This probably killed any chance of joining Big 12. Dumb ass kids.
 
READ the Politics.

There is a good chance - greater than 50% - that the Big 12 does nothing.

We all should prepare our Marching Bands for "Monty Python" type chants against that Power Conference ... and the others. What an interesting clusterfick.
 
Um, Rice is one the very top universities in the country. I don't think give two Shiites about the Big12 or even football to any gear extent. They actually have a primary educational mission identity.

They are changing their mascot from an Owl to a Norwegian Blue.
 
UCMB should totally run a nose picking formation next week. Bands taunting people is tremendous.
 
Aresco has included them in his list of 20 potential candidates. Their presentation follows that of buffalo and precedes Charlotte. Good times
