It looks like I'll be seeing the team at home for the first time in 13 years for the opener against Maine. Seeing as I've never organized the trip on my own before, I'd like to ask the experienced folks here their suggestions for both a) seating and b) parking -- I know that especially with parking, many options abound. Thank you all so much in advance.

I'm sure others will chime in...

a.) http://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncomm...nkID=m-uconn&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

Seems lots of people here sit in section 241. Anywhere is good in terms of seating. Game is @ 7:00 so the sun/heat isn't that much of a factor in terms of which side you sit on.

b.) PW Aircraft Club Parking Lot. $15. It's across the street from stadium on Silver Lane.(on your left if you're coming off 84) It's an area with a bunch of softball fields. More freedom in terms of grilling, short walk, and you're not giving LAZ Parking your $$$.

Have you been visiting the outer solar system?

How difficult would it be to pin a tailgating tip and advice thread to the top of this board?

Best seating is second tier anywhere between the 40 and 50 yard line. I personally park on Silver Lane right before Burger King because it's free

.-.
Opening weeks, sit in the shade. Parking is easy, just follow the signs.

Thanks for all of the advice. I'm looking forward to this like nothing else. Go Huskies!
