Sometimes even the truth has a time and a place. His comments were out of place and in bad taste IMO.He has no beef with women's basketball. Besides, Shabazz spoke the truth, and Emmert knows it.
If not there, where and when? He probably will never have a platform like that again and obviously spoke from the heart and for the rest of the program. Sometimes the truth hurts and should not be sugar coated. This was one of those times.Sometimes even the truth has a time and a place. His comments were out of place and in bad taste IMO.
If he has the power to do that, then that just points out another problem with the NCAAIs anyone else concerned Dr. Emmert/NCAA has sent extra whistles to Nashville?
Could not disagree with you more. His comment was at a time when it would be heard. The NCAA punished him and his team for crimes they did not commit. Let alone young men that left for greener pastures only to miss out on a national championship.Sometimes even the truth has a time and a place. His comments were out of place and in bad taste IMO.
