Rest in Peace Fast Eddie Williams

I was there with him, he was a year ahead of me and in his late 20s if memory serves me correctly. He was very nice and really articulate and always had a smile. The latter Perno years were not great, but I'll alway remember Sgt. Eddie Williams fondly.

It's too bad his last year was also Perno's last year. It would have been nice if he could have been there for JC's first year.

We were suffering fans those years but he was one of the positive guys. A good player and seemed to be an even nicer person.......must have been his Air Force background!

And Ray Broxton. He scored 14 points a game his senior year.
RIP Ray as well. Transferred in the same time as Skinner, who I knew from Stamford. He passed owing one of my UConn buddies some $$ for unmentionables. When I heard the news I told him "you're not getting paid back." He asked me "Is he dead?" Very sad....

Unfortunately Ray passed many years ago. He was only 27 and fell 11 floors trying to get into his locked apartment from next door.

Tim Coles.
Tim was an undersized center. Eddie played with Gerry Besselink for three years. He also played with Jeff King for two years and one year with Uncle Cliffy. Not sure if Cliff actual played tEddie’s senior year. RIP to all three.
