There's a plan for adding a concourse around Gampel, but that I suspsect that will have to wait until the new student rec center, the new baseball, softball and soccer stadia are finished. Probably after the new on campus hockey rink as well.

From the photo in the master plan it appears it's an expansion on the side of the building not upwards. I don't think it will increase capacity of the building, I'm guessing it will serve more for additional concessions, plaques/memorabilia about history of the program, a place to congregate which Gampel currently houses little to none of any of these amenities.

Looking forward to checking this out next year if our team is any good since Cincy is the closest AAC game I can get these days :/
