I was thinking the same thing. Especially for the Las Vegas Aces, and trader Bill (Laimbeer). He's got to get some fresh talent in there. That team (the former San Antonio Stars) finished last in the standings the last two years (7-27 & 8-26). The upcoming draft is guard heavy. I wonder who the Lynx have their eye on? They must get some younger players in there. Except for Maya Moore (28) the rest of the starters are over 30.

I found this article interesting.

Putting Z in the draft without even mentioning her options.

Has Butler going 24 to Lynx with Nurse at 12.

I can see Kia and Maya working together as Whalen (maybe) nears retirement.

I don't think Renee is eligible for the 2018 draft... but, it is nice that she gets to go home. :D

The Dream have been active, they supposedly signed Jessica Breland too.

Of course the return of a healthy and happy Angel would be worth more than those two moves combined.

Experienced players are the big part of the formula of success for the Lynx. Both Alger and Reeve have little patience for rookies.

That being said, the Lynx letting Montgomery walk shows they have an unusual amount of faith in second year guard, Alexis Jones. It worries me a bit.

Yep, and unless the Dream are willing to play small-ball with McCoughtry at the 4, the player that should have won last year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year will probably be coming off the bench.

Anyone that has been watching Tiff lately would submit that she has improved her game since she's been in the league. She made giant strides last season with the extra playing time (and responsibility) she had as Angel McCoughtry chose to sit out the entire WNBA season. “After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take some time off,” McCoughtry said. “I know this decision will allow me to come back and play to the best of my ability.” Read full letter here

McCoughtry may not be coming back to the Dream. She's not on their current roster, nor is she listed as a current player. Her name appears on the WNBA's historical player's list.

You have got to love Renee.
In addition to her skill and passion, she is darn cute.
And those eyes ...
If only I were young and single and handsome and thin and athletic and fun and intelligent and not bald and rich, I'd ask her out.

McCoughtry’s not listed on the “current” roster because the current roster reflects last year’s roster. McCoughtry has been cored though which means she can’t sign elsewhere without a negotiated trade.

Thanks. I did not know that. I thought she would return as she said she would. She's too young and talented to retire.

No matter where on earth you go, it's always nice to come home.

Minnesota Lynx will now draft Kia Nurse if she still there.

Bria Holmes from New Haven, CT (Hillhouse) should still be wil the Dream as well but she may be a small forward or to give Angel and Tiff a breather
