I do think some of the players are get lagged - but I think you can see that CP3 missed out on the WC in 2010 - she just doesn't look completely comfortable with what is happening on the floor.
Parker played poorly, contributed nothing but a couple of boards. In the first quarter, there was a scrum for the ball, and Parker was right there, but she just stood there while 3 or 4 players dove on the floor fighting for the ball. She keeps playing like that, and she won't be playing at all.

Parker has not been finishing well...hard to see what's happening to her...?

Does England have an equivalent of our college basketball? It seems that all of their players played in the US.

Sweet block by D!

God, this PBP guy is missing so many calls. Asjha was in for Parker not Tina (who was already in). Asjha got two points, too.

.-.
Other than that block, I have to say D has been pretty damn bad this game.

Haha, and then she drills the 33333333333333333333333333

GB still on a run, though. 54-47 with 4:55 left in the third.

She has. But 2 games in three days, plus the travel and practices is maybe too mucn for her this early.

Agreed- definitely not worried.

Maya and Lindsay promptly combine for four points.

Lindsey and Maya make things happen. Instant energy, just what USA needs.

.-.
Would like to see the +/- for Maya and Lindsay in this game...

72-51 now.

To the earlier poster - most non-usa basketballers don't have college/scholly opportunities. That's why the US will stay so dominant - we have a farm system.

.-.
No defense from Team USA starters, especially from the guards. GB guards could do what they wanted until the 2nd string came in.

I think the defense wakes up when Maya's on the floor...how does she do it...?
