Three years ago today, we lost Husky Gigi “Mambacita” Bryant and her Dad Kobe.

A truly tragic and horrible day. A great loss to all. He was the perfect father to a basketball playing daughter and a great friend of UCONN. I look forward to watching Aaliyah honoring their memories tonight with her play.
