Alphabeticaly the acronym AAC comes before ACC.
Alphabeticaly the title "American Athletic Conference" comes before "Atlantic Coast Conference".
Many Basketball web sites have solved an apparent problem by mixing and matching. Who could challenge that "ACC" precedes "American?" .......Yeah, no...challenging didn't go well.
I guess the billing's not that bad, they could have called us,"The American." Then we'd only have the West Coast Conference between us and the abyss.
I probably won't take this so seriously when we slide down to the B's.
