I know it is not HCBD MO to blitz but I can help but think tonight is the night to pressure the young QB to make quick decisions, especially with all the talk of running game troubles.

Put pressure, knock him around, make him make quick decisions, force bad decisions, a turnover, not comfortable; rely on Obi and AA to protect and tackle.

THIS! The best way to counteract blitzing is with a draw play & the Coogs are depleted at the RB position.

Diaco tends to coach like Diaco and his tendency is to bend and not break.

Hopefully a less mobile QB means it will be a little easier find the QB. Plus if our guys in the middle get some push, it will collapse the pocket and make it difficult to step up. I think the DTs will be the key to the defense. A good upfield push will be a very good sign.

I am also hoping for a Marquise Vann (circa 2014) sighting tonight as well.

I know that Walsh has held his own but Vann was everywhere last year

Held his own? Walsh has been arguably an upgrade so far. That said, it's nice to have interchangeable parts with no noticeable drop off when the starters need a blow.

As far as Diaco goes, on offense and ST's he has proven to be unpredictable.

Here's hoping that after tonight we can add defense to the list.
