I don't normally like blaming the refs but we've gotten a bad whistle the whole season and this is the breaking point. I can't understand how Ollie let's us get bent over game after game. Storm the damn court, get in a refs face, do something. The whistle has gotten so bad that it seems almost impossible for us to win a close game, it's hard to watch. Cronin gets a million times more respect from the stripes than Ollie does, it's painful.

Ollie needs to say something at the press conference about the officiating in this league.

He does work the refs...that is not why they favor our opponents in games like this

Cronin schooled Ollie today in how to manage the officials. Every questionable whistle, Cronin was in their face. Ollie occasionally complained, but only in the most egregious case. The whistle slowly turned in the second half to the point where we lost 80% of the 50/50 calls and even a few of the 20/80 calls.

This has been a problem for Ollie's entire career, and 4 years in, it does not look to be getting better. He's not learning.

Miller is his own worse enemy in these situations. He gets plain last some games and that leads to silly fouls. He takes games off and it hurts the team. No desire at times to rebound od move offensively. He played a great Statue of Liberty today.
When he wants to play he is a force but someone of his body - he doesn't like to mix it up.

It was embarrassing, Cronin kicked Ollie's butt today.

I'm too lazy but I'd like to see if we've been on the positive side of total for any game outside of the early season scrubs.

Congratulations! You've been nominated for dumbest post of the year. Stay tuned, we'll be announcing the winner in April.

He's been our best player all season, maybe you should sit this one out.

This is not a complaint, just a fact.

Mick Cronin. 10 years of coaching at Cinci and working the officials > KO 4 years at UConn.

Nuff Said.

I say let's start a petition and fire Ollie
UConn cant keep someone who lacks the intelligence level high enough to learn - even the basics
Guys in the chat room saying he cant even coach high school so why keep him here?
He hasn't had enough exposure to understand what to do
He obviously can't draw up plays - that is the chant from so many BYers
The players miss layups because KO zaps them with electrical shocks if one should go in - JA did because KO forgot to put on his collar
SG plays so many minutes because KO and he have a secret pact that says the more SG plays, KO will ensure him an NBA gig - that was stated on the chat room today - how did so many of us miss that secret?
It's sooooooooo easy to blame KO

This might be the most absurd post I've seen here. Outside of Miller, no one has the physicality to mix it up inside. And you choose to criticize him? Insane.

If we had 5 Millers we would probably be undefeated.

Miller is human, and I suspect getting frustrated with the long range bombers and the inability to feed the post. If you want to keep the big man engaged then get him the ball.

He must feel ignored and if so would explain some of why he seems aloof. In other words I can't blame him.

Cincy bigs could do literally ANYTHING they wanted today. Stay in the point for the entire possession, clobber shooters, murder rebounders, goaltend, shuffle their feet on every post move. Even when we got it 3 you just knew there'd be momentum shifting call. For example, Cincy player steps on the half court stripe and ends up hitting a 3.

Obviously we have to execute but we were 8 vs 5 today.
