Well they put Adam Weber in the game as the 3rd qb and he has already thrown 2 picks on 2 passes you think they will let Dan O play now lol.

Williams caught one later and Theismann - doing the color for the local broadcast - said he'll be an NFL player. Maybe not with the Skins, but somewhere. Kept comparing him to Welker. Theismann likes him a lot, for whatever that's worth.

Watched some of the game. When Nick lined up in the slot, Blidi lined up over him and they went one on one.
Kinda cool but I didn't know who to root for. I finally decided that Nick has a tougher time to make the team and needed it more.

I fell asleep before Williams got his run in during the fourth quarter, but looking at the play by play, he needs to rock it in practice in order to see the field vs. Pittsburgh next week.
I see the 'Skins keeping 5 or 6 WRs but, barring injury, P. Garcon, J. Morgan, S. Moss, L. Hankerson, and A. Robinson seem to have firm grip on a spot at this point. That means that Williams has to compete with Devery Henderson, Donte' Stallworth, Dezmon Briscoe (on roster in 2012), Skye Dawson (word is Shanny is real high on him), Chip Reeves, and Lance Lewis. At least three of these guys have kick return experience so I think the best Williams can hope for is practice squad invite or get cut early and catch on with another team...Hopefully not with the Giants, Cowboys. Eagles, or Jets. I want the opportunity to root for player with my nose unplugged.

If Nick just makes someones practice squad it will be a major victory and it will allow him to continue to improve his skills. It took Danny Woodhead several years on practice squads before he had his breakthrough.

Was at that game hoping to see dan o and surprised they didn't play him. Guessing the coach just wanted to see what weber and glennon could do and dan o is a pretty seasoned veteran. Really don't see glennon being the number two putting a rookie in Charge of a team that needs a big season.
Although if the bucs falter i have a feeling schiano may get the boot sooner than later.
