I was listening to the Michigan game. They have a player that transferred from Duke. While at Duke he was planning on redshirting. Duke was limited with players due to injury. This player played 18 total mins for the year. Yup… it counted. Michigan is tryin to get a waiver.

I’m saying this for all this question about playing/playing time. Some saying fudd and Caroline shouldn’t play. This is part of the reason they are playing.

Sorry, but I don't understand the point. Redshirting wasn't going to apply in their situations this season. They had played in too many games by the point they suffered their injuries I believe.

If you play a single minute then a red shirt season is out the window. If you play a limited number of games in the first half of your season, you may apply for a medical hardship waiver to basically get a do over on the season.
