Drummond was a CT kid and we might have landed him without the 2011 NC. I'm sure it helped in Daniels' case.
With all this said, I remember thinking back then how we didn't get the usual NC bump after winning the national championship due to all that was going on with the speculation of Calhoun's retirement and the APR crap. Keep in mind that the recruiting bump is often not realize till two and three seasons afterwards. Relationships with the upcoming class are often already established, but recruits in the subsequent ones are in the process of developing relationships with head coaches. After watching a team win the national championship during their impressionable years often paves the road for future recruiting success.
Since KO has already been building a bunch of solid relationships with many in the 2015 class, we might just see a nice recruiting bump right away.
