The interesting thing is they weren't even comparing UCONN women to other women's programs. They were comparing UCONN women to Duke men. The really funny thing is there isn't another program that's even close to producing what UCONN women have in the pros. Doesn't mean other schools haven't produced stars, or even super stars, but not a single one of them holds a candle to what UCONN has done.

The best players in the world at the 1, 2, and 5 positions are UConn alums: Sue, Diana, and Tina. And Maya may pass Catch at the 3. Plus, look for Stewie to challenge at the 4 in about five years.

Things for A'ja Wilson, Brianna Turner, Katie Lou Samuelson, et al. to consider.

Interesting UCONN women and Duke men comparison. As to the '02 team, Swin said "4 of the top 6 WNBA draft picks were from that team that year. She might had added that the 5th starter on the team was only a soph and not eligible for that draft. That would be Diana Taurasi. Utterly unprecedented.

Recruits, take note if you would, please. :)

Cute find - but sort of a silly comparison given the state of the two sports. Probably a more interesting comparison would be UCLA men from their run vs. Uconn women since 2000.
