2013 PF Schuyler Rimmer has committed to Florida today.
2013 F Kentan Facey is visiting UConn on Wednesday, St.Johns Friday and, Rutgers next week.

Facey is coming on Wednesday. We got in on him before every high major, but JC going down doesn't exactly help

We were recruiting Rimmer. UConn started expressing interest in May and he took an unofficial to the school a little while back. He just recently visited Florida and that must have sealed the deal for him and Florida.

I heard the date for Facey on twitter. Adam Zagoria tweeted that Faceys AAU coach Kareem Memminger told him.

UConn is supposubly also hosting Terrence Samuel this week as well with a few other recruits. Will post when I find out more information.

How do you guys feel about Terrence Samuel? I am not aware of his efforts in HS but I noticed that he is a 2-star on ESPN/3-star on Scout.

Evaluation: "This is a combo guard who might be slightly undersized to play off the ball, yet doesn't have the instinct to be a true point guard. He can score it well, especially going to the rim and is also a good athlete who loves to slash and attack. Getting his three point stroke more consistent would do wonders for his game."

He along w/ any guard that decides to commit to UConn will prob log major minutes as a Frosh w/ the possible departures of our PGs. Thoughts? Aim higher? Also, Kentan Facey?

As for Terrence Samuel he is visiting Friday. He won't be a one and done and would be a good to great player in a few years. I believe that he will commit within the next month and will be our first commitment.

For Kentan Facey he is visiting Wednesday. He cut his list to 11 recently and UConn obviously made the cut. He is AAU teammates with Samuel and they could possibly be a package deal. We have been on him before all of the other high majors went after him so I believe we could get him as well.

if we are filling five ships for 2013, Terrence Samuel would be great. he will grow with the program and works hard. might not get a ton of minutes freshman year

Not sure if any1 UConn is going after is "one-and-done" potential. Could be wrong ... But any PG we sign has to be expected to contribute right away. Think the staff will try & sign 2 PGs ?

I'm still high on the Kendall Smith & Marcus Lee pkg deal ...
