Recruiting Transfers - March

I would sign up for that. Even if it's just for 10-15 minutes a game. Question is if that's the kind of role he's looking for. I kind of doubt it.
Yeah looks solid to me. He’s reminiscent of Eaddy last year, whom everyone said we were too good for, but has been USC’s second best player this year.

Schools are going to be up to their necks in options from the transfer pool too. I’m sure we’ll be “reaching out” too tons of kids, but it’ll probably take a while for things to take shape anyway.

Agreed. And for us, we just need shooters. Yeah a bigger guard would be ideal, but the keey is that the staff is confident they can push 40% on a bunch of attempts. With Polley and Bouk leaving, we're in dire need. It would help a lot if 2/3 of the freshman can shoot it decently too. I know they all shoot 3s, but I'm not holding my breath on Diggins of Johnson year 1. Gaffney shooting like he did in HS and having a strong first real off season would be big too.

Does a senior transfer count against your scholly limit this year? Is it any senior or just your seniors that don't count?

I asked this as well and don't think I received an answer, so I'm not sure if anyone knows haha. My assumption would be, however, that a transfer would count against the scholarship limit, and that they only don't count if they stay at their same school for their "extra" year. That's what would make the most sense to me anyway.

The only people that don't count are those returning to your own program. Any transfers count.

Mom: We don't need a Tyson Walker. We already have a Tyson Walker at home.

Figured it would make sense to start a thread for possible transfer recruits.

Storm Murphy just announced he plans to transfer. 41.7% career three point percentage. I think he would be a great fit.

Monmouth's George Papas entered the transfer portal today as a grad transfer. 6'5 175 mostly played the 2.

12.4p, 1.8a, 1.1s, 44.2 fg%, 39.2 3p%, 2.4 3PM, 79.0 FT%, 2.5 FTM.

Can't promise PT for this kid, but would the Jersey City kid want a spot as a depth piece to play for Hurley?

This play right here is enough for me to sign him up: 😂

Monmouth's George Papas and college basketball's most infamous dunk

Given that this year doesn't count, technically Vance Jackson has another year. If he came back next year would that be his seventh?

6'5 shooter. sign me up.

Literally anyone than can shoot the rock. I don't care if he's blind in one eye, 85 years old, and uses a mobility scooter if he can hit 38% from deep. We need bench shooters.

Jones and Harrar both "Honorable mention" all Big Ten from the media this year (so 16th to 26th best players in the league).

Myreon Jones- High usage 6'3" guard. High volume 3 point shooter (39.5% on 6 attempts). Low turnovers, but still drew fouls. Good ball disruption on defense. Con: Poor shooting inside the arc.

Izaiah Brockington: 6'4" wing. Seems pretty mediocre. Good FT shooter, but 2 straight years of bad 3pt shooting.

John Harrar: 6'9" center. Rebounding machine. Very strong. One of the best boarders in the country. Activity on the boards and getting deep position drew a lot of fouls. Decent finisher. Average FT shooter. Con: Pretty bad rim protector. Very limited athleticism and not much length.

Trent Buttrick: Senior role player backup center. Can space it a bit, but terrible hands. Decent rebounder.

damn, i forgot that kfree had the penn state ties. just looking at their stats, i would love one or both of harrar and jones if they were willing to come off the bench.

papas and bramah are the other guys i have seen who seem like they would fit well.
