Edsall seems to have realized that UConn is a heck of a lot easier sale than a lot of other FBS schools, especially the lower level ones. He's going after a lot of good players, many whom have verbally committed elsewhere. Word in South Florida is that he's selling his ability to put relative no names in the NFL, the campus, degree and the fact that everyone knows UConn, and UConn football is about to get back on the map in football. This sounds like a coach who realized what a special place it was once he left. It is much easier to sell something you personally love and appreciate. I think Randy is about to do big things for us and for himself. Redemption is a strong motivator.
