Coach last year it seemed like committed recruits’ names were popping early and often during the process but that doesn’t seem to be the case, so far, this year.

“ I think right now, to us, we don’t see any difference,” Cersosimo said. “We’re still very much recruiting the same caliber of player as last year if not even better than last year.

One: Tyler Samra committed May 20.

Then June brought a flurry of commits, plus a few in July: John Green June 13, Brendan Battles-Santos June 30, Obe Melifonwu June 14, Jhavon Williams July 27, Elijah Norris June 22, Bobby Puyol July 14, Michael Ellis Marder June 23, Jason Sylva June 23, Jonathan Hicks June 16, Mikal Myers June 19.

I think we're doing better this year so far, but we'll know more in a month.
