Recruiting information for "Dummies"

Went to the Mitty (Haley Jones) versus Salesian (Angel Jackson) game this evening ) it was the Northern Cal Open division semifinal . Both played well, but Jones dominated after suffering a turned ankle 3 minutes into the game. Jackson is a big girl that would need to work on conditioning if she is going to play big minutes at the collegiate level.
I asked the folks at the ticket booth if there were any coaches on the pass list. Geno and CD were, but they were not in attendance. Right behind me in line though was Karen Aston and Jamie Carey.
Jones has had recent home visits from Kelly Graves, Dawn, and Muffet. Geno was here a few weeks ago to see Jones play.

Had forgotten about Jackson until you mentioned her. UCONN and Maryland saw her play in AAU in July of 2017.

Is there any corroboration that Magbegor is joining Connecticut? Kind of strange silence regarding a high-profile international player. ESPN? Anyone? Hope it's true.

Do we really have a shot with Brink, given that she's right there in Oregon and a hometown girl for the up-and-coming Oregon program? Is that realistic? Not disputing that we want her to come to Connecticut.

What would the effect on recruiting bigs be if we ended up with two post players- Magbegor and Nelson-Ododa next year? Would Boston or Amihere want to come if our front court were already set, so to speak? I doubt that it would have an effect on Brunelle's thinking, since she could be a KLS-style forward/guard.

Thoughts?

She reportedly attends Oregon St. home games semi-regularly. So Oregon may not be the local team UConn is competing with for her.

Wait. I thought Uconn always gets top 10 players every year?

So is the claim by many of those on the outside looking in on UConn Nation. Because to them, it certainly seems that way.

I have no idea if UCONN is recruiting these players but bumping this thread to add Sydney Parrish and Caitlin Clark.
My rationale is simple: Clark is number 1 in the class per ESPN and UCONN has never not been involved with the #1 kid in the class for as long as I can remember. Parrish might be a harder case to make for UCONN but I'm not about to concede anything to the Irish even if she's from Indiana. Talent like that you can't ignore and per USA basketball Sydney has grown 2 inches and is now a legit 6'2"-#SHEGONNABEAPROBLEM#.
