The UConn Foundation raised nearly $90 million in the fiscal year that ended in June.

We are still WAY below where we should be and need to be...athletically and academically. Moving forward, post-covid, post-secondary education is going to be financially challenged more than ever. The State of CT will likely allocate less and less to UConn and alum are going to need to step up or the University will begin to slide from the perch it's reached--which benefits us all!

UConn needs to due a better job of connecting with alums and state residents for donations. Unfortunately, you need to spend money on top talent to raise money from wealthy donors and UConn isn't recruiting the right people to connect with wealthy donors.
