"Subservience" is yet another in the getting crowded genre of life like android/AI going rogue. A father is struggling with taking care of two young kids while his wife is in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant. Enter sexy nanny/housekeeper/bot Megan Fox. The movie takes its time, but there are some early hints this will all end badly. Nothing new here, but it was decent enough. I saw several reviews saying it was the perfect role for Fox, because her acting is a bit robotic and cold. On Netflix.
Of course it's not even remotely new. Was 2001: A Space Odyssey maybe the first? And Terminator was forever ago. Having grown up with that stuff, I'll be pretty disappointed if AI doesn't eventually turn on us and betray us. Entertainment/pop culture has been predicting it for forever.
