This is all CGI all the time.  Nice looking though.  I won't spoil the plot which goes back to Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) being there for 30 years and what she didn't tell anyone.  This is the modern equivalent of a Saturday Matinee B movie.  Something like 20,000 leagues under the sea, Voyage to the bottom of the Sea, etc.  It's not really trying to be anything else.  It's perfectly ok if that's all you expect.
