He is a pretty bad guy/borderline monster. That is a part of his charm. I guess he redeems himself by not killing the pilot, and just flying off on his own, which he was completely capable of doing. Although they are all pretty good, I think the second movie might be my favorite of the series. The necromancer’s are excellent villains, and the ending line of the movie is perfect.
