nick williams next to john green on kickoffs next year?!?!?!?! then when willaims leaves, newsome and john green!!!!

I think Green redshirts and let him get a little stronger. Similar size and build to David Stevenson, who by all accounts should have a bunch of BCS offers if he was just a little taller. They could be a deadly combo back there together though. Who knows also, maybe Green comes in bigger than his listed 167 and beasts in summer practice and proves he doesn't need a redshirt.

Nope, otherwise Duke and Indiana would be much better football programs than Boise State and TCU right?

I agree, that having more money flowing into your program every year, makes it easier to recruit.

Look - understand the sport. Every single division 1-A football program is a BCS team. That's the truth. Every 1-A team has a chance of competitng for a national championship....on paper.

In reality, it's the money that flows through the 6 AQ conferences vs. the 5 non-AQ conferences that is the only thing about the BCS that trully matters.

Is it easier to recruit, when you've got a giant operating budget? Yup. See Greg Schiano.

Like Kentucky in the SEC, they are Basketball Schools by choice of athletic identity. A school like Boise State has been playing good football since right after WWII save for a decade in the 80's regardless of the level of competition. Their fairly recent national success is not something that just came out of the blue but is a result of having been cultivated for decades.

I think Joe Williams is a big get at RB... another track guy. He won the Lehigh Valley Championship with a 10.5 100m and the 200m with a 21.8 and very productive his senior year before Fork Union.

"In 2010, for the first time since the 1981 season, Emmaus won Pennsylvania's Class 4A Eastern Conference Championship in football. During the 2010 season, Emmaus senior tailback Joseph Williams broke three school football records: most yards in a single game (282), most touchdowns in a single game (6) and most points in a single game (36)"

he didnt' seem to get a lot of fanfare here since we were all let down by not getting Dobbs in, but he's very highly rated by rivals and if he's that fast at 6' 200 pounds, he could be a real beast for us. apparently he'd pretty much committed to us in June, which if P thought we had he and Dobbs lined up, might explain why we don't seem to have any other RBs on the horizon

The comments in that article say he had offers from Temple, Clemson and Oregon.
