When we got creamed last year by SC, 70 - 52, we won the rebound battle, 40 - 38. This year, in our gritty win over SC, 63 - 59, we lost the rebound battle, 52 - 39, but we did shoot a little better than SC.

Actually, in last night's game, the rebounding battle (including offensive rebounds) was quite close for 3.5 quarters, and only got lopsided near the end of the game. I had the ESPN detailed box score up throughout the game and I looked at it during every commercial, and for most of the game the Gamecocks led by only about 5 overall rebounds and 3 offensive rebounds. Since there are no "point in time" box scores available now, I can't document that, but it is what I observed during the game.

In the same way, Liv's and Boston's stats were quite comparable until late in the game, when Boston pulled away.

Fourth quarter, Liv had four fouls which caused her to sit on the beach and effected her ability to play defense. Also Boston became the focus of SC's offense. Come on, we held them to 59 points. They had almost as many turnovers to made baskets. I like our chances in a rematch, don't believe we will shoot 2/12 in 3 point shooting.

Evina won't be held without a point, either.

I'd like to sit on the beach with Olivia. In Florida we're surrounded by beaches.
