Wow - 20 years since the 1995 championship this season. I think the "shot" in North Carolina's championship followed by the Lobo-led UConn group followed by the Atlanta Olympics were the 3 steps to making WBB as popular as it is. Which, sadly, isn't anywhere near as popular as I wish. But before then . . .

I believe when the original idea about doing a special on Lobo was submitted for approval to the PBS executives they were under the impression it was to be a special about a wolf.
